Their work in the animation field and openness in discussing it has really inspired me to research how to animate! Their new series called “I don’t want to be a magical girl” has me hooked so I had to draw the main character Aika!

Their story the lunar flame has inspired me a lot to get back into writing and work on the world building in the concepts! Alongside the writing aspects their art style inspires me a lot especially in how they handle character poses!

Also one specific way they’ve inspired me is how they handle integrating their watermark into the design which I started doing for my own works!

Their designs are super well thought out, be it the redesigns they do, the original creations for monster hunter and fakemon, and even their own stories such as Shell (which I drew the protagonist of!)

This time it’s for @prim_brid on Twitter/tumblr!
They inspires me a lot in how comforting and charming their art style is alongside how charming their take of characters are and their ability to make the characters their own!

Gamin inspires me a lot in how well he handle their redesigns and have caused me to handle redesigns based on specific flavors in different ways, especially in the way they handle incorporating the original flavors in such interesting and organic ways!

I couldn’t decide which of his redesigns was my favorite so I did both moonlight and cocoa as sprites!

They inspire me a lot through the amazing designs they do not just for fakemon but monster designs in general and have caused me to rethink my approaches to monster designs and improve in many ways!

Doing a challenge I dub “fanuary” this month where every other day I’m doing fanart for an artist who’s inspired me!
