Congratulations to SEFPO Keith Brunkard who had his hair and beard cut at 42m today. Keith raised over €21,000 for OscarsKids and his hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust charity in the UK.

Firefighters from Tara Street fire station were called to a fire against a premises in the early hours of this morning.

The fire was extinguished using a high pressure hose reel and the building was ventilated using a positive pressure fan.

Smoke was visible in the area but the fire was prevented from spreading any further.
