And a couple of weeks back, we were told we're getting another measurement specialist from our mother company in Japan.
Sounds great, eh?

Only on Friday, I've received an echo that this person is not really supposed to help us out, he's supposed to teach us how to work /effectively/.

Things are tough at work.

For a while now, my senpai and I had to manage work originally meant for three people in order for the company to save money.

Finally, the management realised how unsustainable this is and started to look for a third worker.

V Klementinu to dnes byla jízda. Samozřejmě nebylo možno fotit stěžejní exponáty. Je mi to líto, protože jde o úžasná umělecká díla. Ale konečně se trochu vyjasnila historie s různými opisy.

Vidět třeba origo Dalimilovu kroniku byl bizár. A pohádkář Hájek, to je tak nádherné zpracování! 💛

Went through the folder of my old artworks (=15+yrs).

It's funny, how animesque, cringey, and /edgy/ they are, but then again, I admire my younger self for her bold use of colour, which I almost never do these days. 🤭

Všichni si hráli v trávě (byla dost vysoká), a já jsem spolu s několika dalšími děvčaty trhala kytky, když v tom se najednou zvedl vítr a dveře Kapličky se dost prudce otevřely. Za nima nikdo nebyl, a vevnitř byla tma. Dost nás to vyděsilo.

A to je všechno.

Dobře, ale není to moc strašidelné.

Buď ve školce nebo v první třídě jsme šli na výlet právě ke Kapličce. Tehdy ještě byla dost sešlá.

Tam jsme dostali rozchod.

(This was a slow-burn. I basically went from 'hmm, what an odd name' to 'YES! *points*' within several weeks. W/o realising it.

Today, the news were about Lyman. I wondered out loud where Novoekonomichne is, and uncle was like, 'this is too up north. Novoekonomichne is south, near Pokrovsk'.)

Uncle and I watch news from 🇺🇦 frontlines every day, uncle especially, and we cheer at the ingenuity of Ukrainian weapons constructors, yes, but every time I see the name Novoekonomichne on the map, I'm like 'Yes! It's Novoekonomichne!'.
I unreasonably love the name.
I hope I'll get to visit one day.
