They are just soil moisture sensors. Wireless and powered by a single AA battery, I move them around the soil every day or 2. To water, I start out top watering until they start drinking from the reservoir then it's drink and fill til harvest.

The Compound V is unfortunately the weakest stuff I grew this year. Amazingly terpy though with sweet fruity goodness, it smells like a bowl of Trix to me. Big thing was getting all the bud that's cured up out of Grove bags and into jars. The bags are great but the zippers don't hold up so well.
