I think for this month's freebie, I'm gonna go back to where it all started and do page dividers, because the existing ones need more buddies 😌

Thanks! Making the night versions is kinda addicting tbh. I put these on CC BY 4.0, so basically anything goes as long as I get credit

I can't play horror games alone for the same reason; I get too immersed. I've solved the problem by playing with a friend or a few and taking turns controlling the character. I haven't played RE7 or the newer ones though, and wonder if I'm even able to... 😱

The horror games I keep going back to are Silent Hill 1 & 2 (PSX). They're clunky, but there's just something... I also remember having fun times with Forbidden Siren 2 (PS2), but it might be the nostalgia. The Resident Evil series is also a favorite, despite being sometimes more action than horror.

Despite being dead-tired, I managed to put together a postmortem for my Gloomy Mansion Background Pack! 📝

I'm thinking of adding some nighttime versions of the backgrounds, and maybe putting together a vol. 2 later ✨

Gloomy Mansion Background Pack - Postmortem
I have finished my first asset pack for Make Visual Novel Assets Jam! What a ride. I like melancholy games and the Victorian era, so I wanted to make some assets that would encourage devs to make more...

I see people saying this sort of thing often, and quite frankly it makes me sad. The truth is, more people are making good adventure games now than were ever made during the “golden age” of the 90s. For example: 🧵
Screenshot from a comment in a Discord server, the text reads “It’s so sad hardly anyone is making good point and click adventure games anymore. The Dig, Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Grim Fandango, these are all etched into my soul.
