The Lakers fall 113-104 against the Suns. Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves combined for 50 points. Both scored 25 each. Deandre Ayton had a double double with 10 points and 13 boards. Los Angeles heads to Vegas to take on Dallas tomorrow.

The Suns lead the Lakers 89-83 after three quarters. At this point, it'll be a game between the E-10 and two-way players. Phoenix sat all their main players, and Los Angeles is unlikely to bring Luka or Austin for this preseason game.

The Lakers lead 66-56 over the Suns at the half. Luka Dončić was magical with 22 points on 60% shooting. Austin Reaves was a monster in his own right with 18 points, shooting 60%. That's 40 points total for the Lakers' backcourt duo in two quarters of play.

There was bad turnover by Koloko and some sloppiness from Reaves as well. To JJ Redick's credit, he is being a lot clamer. The camera went to him, and he didn't look like he wanted to pull his hair out. Instead, he clapped to give the guys some encouragement.
