Yes, I realize they want privatization. However, in this moment, we still need to make sure that the most vulnerable are taken care of. We can do that while also fighting for a more just and democratic system.
Yes! Also, take that energy and start filling in the gaps left by the destruction of egocentric people in power. As programs are shut down find ways to help. Volunteer to tutor or be a big friend to children whose afterschool programs are closed. Do something meaningful and productive.

Spent the day in DC celebrating Black history & excellence! Visited the Motor Green Book exhibit at the MLK Library, then saw the Quilts by Black Women at the Renwick—powerful stories stitched into every piece. A reminder of resilience, creativity, and legacy.

It’s interesting cause I do lots of work using Canva and this was a first.
Tried to use Canva write ai to revise text in a slide about the economic impact of Black labor and got a message that it could not do it b/c the topic was political.
