I think we did. We are actually above average for moisture this year now, it’s been a wet summer. We had a crazy flooding day in August.

I was probably out there a week after you then. We drove out June 27 and spent some time at Boysen State Park then Grand Teton before going into Yellowstone. It was sooo cold overnight.

Sad to report the first lightning fatality of 2025.

A corrections officer in North Carolina was struck by lightning while fishing.

Fishing is the activity with the most associated lightning fatalities in the United States.

Said Buzzards with a Bald Eagle. I have never caught them hanging out before. The eagle has to work a lot harder to fly so it stood out from the Buzzards. The eagle is the top bird in the photo.
