a sparring match between vegetto and kefla
#DragonBall

[1/11]

Vegetto stands with arms folded in a clearing. The environment seems to be Planet Sadala, of Universe 6, with violet trees, a yellow sky, and a large moon hanging in the sky.
Vegetto remains both quiet and still, listening.
Something approaches, jumping between the trees too fast to properly see.

Vegetto turns his head slightly. "Ain't gettin' cold feet, are ya?" He asks, speaking loud enough to be heard. "Or were ya just lookin' t' waste my damn time, sittin' pretty with your tail between your legs?"
His grin widens as his taunt continues. "Don't bore me, now!"
Just as he finishes speaking, the leaves stir again, and Kefla leaps right for him, one hand balled into a fist and held back in preparation.

Kefla shouts as she approaches, winding her arm back further as she snarls.
Vegetto, upon hearing her, quickly shifts his feet to turn around with an almost twirling motion.
In that swift movement, he dodges her punch, and has begun to lift his other leg in retaliation. Kefla has no time to react in the split second action.

Vegetto's kick makes contact, hitting Kefla in the abdomen with force.
They pause while Kefla is stunned, only for a brief moment.
Then, he shifts into a familiar stance. The thumb, index and middle fingers of his left hand curled upwards.

I want to remind everyone that if I went with my first sketches, I'd be convinced I couldn't draw. I sometimes have those feelings after my first sketches, and then remind myself to do 3-5 versions, pushing and changing the idea. And then bam I remember that it was just First Sketch Syndrome.
