Is Kraft-Heinz $KHC about to pull a $K? After a failed merger, the demerger looks like the only way out.
On my substack I break down what went wrong and how the split could unlock an 87% return for investors.

Galderma $GALD delivered an impressive H1: raised guidance and ex-Nemo margin close to 30%! Still prefer Evolus $EOLS as a pure play, but huge credit to Galderma for driving growth with innovations in a challenging environment.
Louis Vuitton is having a difficult Q2. Wine and spirits continuing to be weak on easy comps and fashion down -7%. Chinese cohort no longer buying in Japan it seems or at home. Margin down -15% in H1. Luxury is definitely a challenging place at the moment.
I don’t own $GOOG but that’s a powerful chart for YouTube.

Swedish Biogaia just reported Q2, the small cap has an interesting portfolio of probiotics.
Historically they have had a very strong pediatrics footprint and they are now expanding successfully in adult health.
Interesting exposure to the ageing population theme.
Very interesting chart from Dan Rasmussen of Verdad Capital, listed PE funds volatility is higher than public market (many caveats but the base of the argument is sound). Lower volatility in PE fund is mainly a product of illiquidity and lack of real mark to market.
$MIPS delivered a nice +12% organic growth in Q2 despite a lot of business being pushed back due to tariffs. Margin would have been a very nice 39% without the one-off legal costs.
Valuation remains demanding despite the recent correction, but this is a net cash company growing EPS and FCF 30%+ p.a.
Definitely an application I did not think of when writing my Evolus deep dive, youtube.com/shorts/NKCvC...
A good reminder not to be afraid of thinking outside the box when analyzing companies

Another challenging quarter for $STZ with depletions down -2.6% in Beer, driven by cautious spending among the Hispanic cohort and high comparable sales.
It's tough to be constructive while Trump is president, though the stock's low-teen NTM P/E is near historical lows for its current perimeter.
Anyone has found a good AI for doing models? It seems antiquated to still be inputting data by hand on the lines I care about?
I love how med-spas are democratizing beauty in the US—but @iamjohnoliver latest exposé is a chilling reminder that regulation lags consumption trends.
Hoping $ABBV, $GALD and $EOLS keep consumer safety front & center— and it’s definitely got me rethinking regulatory risk.

A good reminder Apparel is a brutal category. $LULU down -20% on disappointing results (but still positive growth). Management is cautious and clearly inventory is piling up a bit, but that kind of reaction always seem so out of proportions.
$BF.B down 16% on a miss and pretty downbeat outlook for the year. Spirits volume seems to be bottoming out be not yet fully out of the woods
Super happy to have reached 200 eyeballs since starting to take my substack more seriously👀. Thanks for following! With 12 years of professional public market investing, I'm excited to keep sharing insights. Your feedback and shares are always appreciated!

Rémy Cointreau calling out the bottom in the US while dropping their 2030 guidance and still looking for a CEO. Definitely a weird cocktail🍹. Stock is up 6% on the news.
I don’t think we’re out of the woods yet, but hopefully things are finally improving.
$FRPT CEO giving some context to the slow start of the year while being confident on the LT at the DB conference . Historically those times of weakness have been good entry points.
$EOLS is rebounding today following last week’s drop when CFO Sandra Beaver announced she was leaving. I liked Sandra and would have preferred she had stayed. Looking forward to seeing the next CFO, a key function for a company tethering on profitability.
If you’re wondering what happened to $SBUX over the last five years and whether it’s worth a look, head to my latest write-up open.substack.com/pub/elevator...

I dive into the big moves and where it leaves the company.
Nice beat and raise for $ULTA with solid margin at 14.1%. Curious to hear more on the call, but new CEO Steelman may have succeeded in putting the company back on track. Comps also become easier from here which helps.
“Trump always chicken out” trade. I like a good acronym but would not poke the crazy bear too much. He is a wild card.

Finally, a semblance of reason in this mad world! Trade Court strikes down Trump's tariffs. Never a dull moment with this administration 🙂. Keeps us all on our toes! 🍿

Unclear how it will impact the US and China’s already negotiated deals.

$ANF up 20% this morning as they beat expectations. Not my kind of stock but that execution deserves some credit
