alex's hands got maimed some years ago, and it fucks with his ability to conjure weaponry; he adapted by using his feet instead, but some of the excess bleeds out of his arms still, so he must repeatedly bandage reopening wounds

they got nicknamed as "jackals" because of their tendency to start getting taken in by the frenzy of combat/trying to stay alive; they laugh kinda scarily, and their energies enable each other to get worse

whenever they shapeshift, the scar on their face doesn't wholly disappear; it was given to them by their owner on their first failed escape attempt...it's why, despite absolutely hating it, they often opt for disguise visages with fur/facial hair

it's a whole lot to try and process especially when they don't have a whole lot to ground them besides traumabonding with their new party; memories keep getting dumped into their head from random places with no interconnection

i didn't get very far in either of the games i played her in unfortunately, so it remains to be seen if she could ever be the most unhinged maneating lagoon creature or not u__u
