Mi hermana y yo nos parecemos tanto que a las dos nos ha pasado ir a un evento tech o friki sin la otra y que alguien nos pregunte inmediatamente, "¿Eres hermana de...?"

Y mi padre y yo somos clavados, si algún día empiezo a inyectarme testosterona y me sale barba, seré igualite a él a mi edad.

Lo triste es eso, tener que decir "suerte que", cuando poder acceder a una formación universitaria debería ser un derecho que todos tienen asegurado.

Dicen que tener dinero te hace más conservador, pero a mí me ha radicalizado más hacia la izquierda. Porque veo mi vida y quiero que todo el mismo viva por lo menos tan bien como yo.

Por eso creo tanto en la importancia de organizarse. Por eso intento estar en cada manifestación y en cada asamblea. Porque soy muy consciente del privilegio que tengo y sé que mi deber es usarlo para luchar por un mundo mejor.

La forma en la que vivo sería un fracaso para un Boomer. Miro cada céntimo, no tengo coche, no puedo pagar una semana de vacaciones en la playa, de tener hijos ni hablamos, mi piso es tamaño Polly Pocket... Y así y todo, soy muy consciente de que estoy mucho mejor que el Millennial promedio.

Y me frustra porque veo a personas de mi generación que trabajan igual o más que yo, con talento e inteligencia a espuertas, que siguen sin llegar a fin de mes, gente que se merece el cielo, y me pregunto... ¿Por qué tengo que vivir yo mejor que ellos, sólo porque mis padres tenían más dinero?

Entre que me pagaron la universidad (pública, pero tengo amigos que la dejaron por no poder pagar la matrícula), que me mantuvieron mientras pasaba años en becas no remuneradas o a 300€/mes, y que me prestaron dinero para el piso... No hay un día que no piense que si estoy aquí, es por mi familia.

(O sea, que sí, que creo que a los millenials nos han jodido pero bien y hemos tenido muy mala suerte en cuanto al contexto que nos ha tocado vivir y las oportunidades. Pero me sigo sintiendo horriblemente mal porque, a pesar de todo, mis amigos sí han salido adelante y yo no.)

Y aparte está lo que ven a sus padres en casa. ¿Quién ocupa más tiempo en casa a cuidar de los niños? Cuando van ambos en el coche, ¿Quién conduce?¿Quién se sienta en el sofá a mirar las carreras mientras la otra cambia pañales?

My manager shared an article on the team Slack about a company that is getting a class action lawsuit for misusing AI.

The article was VERY obviously unedited AI-slop.

A teammate then replied "this is what ChatGPT thinks about this article:".
