This robot has been out front of our apartment building for at least an hour. How long until I am legally allowed to adopt her as my second child?

That’s not to say you can’t like Tron! A lot of people like Tron! I like the original! I didn’t like Legacy as much as others did! It’s cool! But it’s just not a franchise moneymaker.

I have a fondness for Tron, but that’s mostly from the arcade game, the original action figures, and the tunnel the Disneyland Peoplemover used to go through.

But the movies just don’t have mass appeal. (Leto even less so.) The most popular Tron thing is arguably the Lightcycle coaster.

Made a beefier but simpler-looking hilt with 1-1/4” galvanized and copper pieces.

OK, that’s enough ADHD for today.

A “lightsaber hilt” made with 1-1/4” plumbing fittings (bottom to top: galvanized cap, galvanized nipple, galvanized coupling, copper union)
