There have been a couple comm inqs ive been sent in the past couple months that had me running around with my hands up celebrating like im ronaldo bc ive wanted to draw the character for sometimes several years fuckkk online rules sometimes

You have to delete the comma, hit space to make it an active hyperlink, then hit CONTROL-ENTER [NOT SHIFT-ENTER] to insert a line break wtf are they smokin with google sheets

They get bunched up bc for some inexplicable reason, despite it being a google form using a google-provided form option [that being a google drive upload box, again made by google] the google SHEET the data exports onto puts all the links together, separating them by a comma with no spaces lmfao

Also for the record, as insane as it sounds considering the total, i see all the comm inquiries and remember ALMOST all of them. Partially bc im good with names, but also bc i have to manually parse all the google drive links out for the refs that get sent in

It kinda makes me feel like a huge pos bc 52/600smth is a cartoonishly small margin but it isnt like whos more popular / who has the best chars / whos gonna pay more or anything

Its honestly like who has the best vibe, has a good track record as a client with other artists, has an interesting idea

Some people are clearly a little malicious with it, but some of them are seemingly treating it like sweepstakes rules, where they think submitting a large amount of tickets will increase the chances of them getting picked i think????

Ive been getting a lot of “how the hell are u getting so many weird inquiries” over the past couple months and i really should clarify that the current amount of inquiries is >600 if you include dupes, multiple ideas, spam, etc.

Granted there are several hundred of them and theyre offset by a likewise huge amount of “AF is ok! do whatever u want dog lol” inqs, but the lack of a middle ground is really staggering

Like if you sent me a loose/general idea as your inquiry you are in an eyewateringly small minority its crazy

Ive had the form open for a little over a year now and the amount of TMI, demanding, open flirting, anger over “being ignored” after the first [or tenth] inquiry, heist planning-level overexplaining, fanfic writing, and terms-ignoring ive seen is almost cartoonish hfkmkhhdj
