A win for the oceans! 🌊

Fantastic to see new Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper introducing a bill to ratify the Global Oceans Treaty

The UK will now be part of international efforts to protect seas beyond national borders from exploitation, heeding calls from APPG supporters & environmental groups

At our Planning & Infrastructure Bill roundtable yesterday, MPs & Peers heard how recent government amendments are a positive step for nature.
But more can be done to protect species while meeting housing targets. Clearer rules can also speed up development and cut costs for business.
