I think if I like this job we will have to move closer. I work from 8.30 to 6. And it’s the public transportation that makes it so unhinged. Plus I am married and I have cats so going to bed immediately after dinner is just shit because I want to spend time with them. Even if it’s just a little bit.

Public transport. Drive would be 30min. Now it’s 2x 20min train and 20-30min between connections.

I used to be a morning person but the last 1.5 years I got up at 8AM to get to work at 8.30AM 💀
I aim to get ready for bed at 10pm and lights out at 10.30pm. I get home at 7.30pm so I also struggle with my short evening 🫠 I am basically not home anymore.

I need to get up at 6AM. And recently I have been waking up at 5.30-5.45am. And never have over 6h sleep.

My new job is cool and all but this commute is killing me already 🤪

The internet tells me it takes 2-3 weeks to get used to a new routine. Can’t wait for the headaches to stop 😍

My boss said that most people quit in their first 3 weeks. But if I can manage the first 3 months I should be gold. He also casually dropped my senior just got paid a £120k quarterly bonus. So you know what? Getting up at 6AM is my passion 🤣🤣🤣
