I live in a county that has been run by Republicans forever. Trump won here with about 70% of the vote each time he's run. Last night I was at my bowling league and overheard some people discussing how he has dementia, has done nothing but lie, and is misusing the military. He's losing his base.

It would be really nice if the citizens in this country completely ignoring everything would wake up and pay attention. Even without the media doing their job not noticing something is wrong right now is intentional.

Prices around here are crazy. A lot of older farmers are cashing out. The value of their acreage is through the roof right now as well. And these are dairy farms not beef and they still sell their cattle for crazy prices.

I honestly don't think it's Trump they are protecting. At this point he is almost expendable. The problem is you can bet there is big republican donors doing really bad things in those files. They know if they go down they'll take every last one of them with them because they have all the dirt.

I see it as karma. It's not right and it's not legal and I'm sure it will get thrown out as soon as the DOJ shows a court their complete lack of evidence, as usual, but I am not terribly sad for him personally.
