As of today, around 1,000 out of the 8,372 people killed in the #SrebrenicaGenocide remain unidentified. Over the past three years, forensic teams have examined 62 sites and recovered no remains that could be linked to a specific individual.
Our panellists shared their personal stories and insights, emphasising why casualty recording remains vital in establishing justice and providing closure for family and friends.

Today, 7 more victims of the #SrebrenicaGenocide will be buried in the Srebrenica Memorial Centre in Potočari.

In July 1995, 8,372 Muslim men and boys were murdered by Serb forces during the Srebrenica Genocide. Three decades later, approximately 1,000 people have still not been identified.
