Totally agree Otto, Hereditary Peers have mostly been appointed by Monarchs past in return for patronage and favours, appointed Peers are part of the “Mutual Backslapping Club” who basically do the same in modern times. Any such Act of Parliament could take a whole bunch in one go! 🤔😺

Yes and yes again - Reform’s Policies at racist. Starmer has a majority and could focus more on looking to rejoin the EU, pushing for Proportional Representation, and tax the richest more to help ordinary people cope with cost of living in the UK and building houses people can afford.

I did look beyond the headline and my views have not changed. Labour politicians cling to the racist label when people disagree with them - too often - when a more constructive response would have neutralised Farage & Co. I am not a Reform supporter but I do think reform of our system is required!
