When I was escaping my home for the first time, I was shipping some things to my partner's house.
I couldn't afford the shipping costs. The person at the register gave me a $10 off discount when I explained my situation, seemingly just out of kindness.
I agree, humans are naturally kind.
I did finish today's Tarotober prompt but I won't be posting it today
Too tired today to write the usual paragraphs I do
The High Priestess reminds you and the Fool to trust your intuition. It's there to protect and care for you.
And in my experience, it does a pretty good job at that, too.
If you struggle to listen to your intuition, you may be confused or anxious. If you get the reversed High Priestess in your readings, take a few minutes to think: am I anxious? Why? Is it something I can change? How?
Ask yourself if you have all the information you need to make a proper decision.
The High Priestess is full of inner knowledge. She is intelligent and has a great sense of intuition. She reminds you to listen to your intuition as well.
The world may seem scary at first, but understanding yourself through meditation or spirit work helps.
The High Priestess is a quiet, patient figure. She bridges the gap between two words: masculine and feminine, mundane and divine, light and dark. She believes both of these worlds are equal and there is value in learning from both.
The crescent moon tells us she is in tune with her emotions.
Tarotober Day 3 - The High Priestess
My migraines are pretty bad today, so Tarotober day 3 will unfortunately have to wait

Please use alt text when posting illustrations or photos or other images. I realize it feels like an inconvenience if you didn't ever do it at the other place, but folks who need it are a zillion times more inconvenienced every single day.
I'm so grateful to this platform for allowing me to set it so it requires me to add alt text before I post. I'm an artist with ADHD who wants to be inclusive, but on sites without those reminders I forget a lot :(
I wish other sites had requiring alt text as an option because I don't want to forget!
How beautiful! I love the colors
Getting the Magician in your Tarot reading should remind you that you got this. You have everything you need and you should go for it! You are capable and intelligent and you shouldn't let self-doubt stop you.
But nothing is possible without putting in the work to make it happen.
But while the Magician may be a kind and supportive figure, sometimes deception is a tool. A person who seems to be a Magician-like figure could be using trickery and deception to get their way.
When you see the Reversed Magician in your readings, make sure to be extra cautious.
He believes that the heavens and the earth reflect each other, as do your mind and the world around you. "As above, so below." This is a lesson the Fool must learn in order to understand and use his fullest potential.
The Magician encourages you to use the tools you have as well.
The Magician has all the elements that he needs: Wands representing fire and passion for creation, Swords representing air and knowledge, Cups representing water and relationships, and Pentacles representing earth and prosperity. He encourages the Fool to reach his potential.
The Magician is the first person the Fool meets on his journey. He teaches the Fool that to be successful, he already has all the tools he needs - he just needs to learn how to use them.
Tarotober Day 2 - The Magican
That's about how I feel every time, too
I stuck pretty close to the original card for this piece because I found that it does its job well. I'll likely deviate from it in future cards.
The 0 represents a new beginning, he is starting on a new journey and currently has no idea what he's doing. He will learn as he goes, but for now, he is naive and inexperienced.
But aren't we all when we start something new?
But just because he's excited and optimistic doesn't mean he isn't being reckless.
The Rider Waite Smith deck depicts his dog barking at him, a warning to be careful of the potential danger around him. No one knows what awaits him at the bottom of that cliff.
His belongings represent the burdens he carries, the dog represents the people who will support him, and the white rose in his hand represents innocence.
The sun in the top right corner represents the dawn of a new day and the cliff represents his willingness to jump right in.
The Fool is excited and optimistic. He is starting a new journey and can't wait to learn everything he can.
He is naive and has nothing on him but the belongings he packed, a loyal companion, and enthusiasm.
