The older I get, the more I appreciate capacity for enthusiasm as a trait in game devs/artist. This is something that has the tendency to dissolve, but you can never lose #gamedev

When I start a game project, it's like I'm in a train of euphoria and it feels great. The challenge is to take the actual gamedev progress with you as long as the attitude is so positive. Later on, it gets harder and at some point I have to manually push the waggon #gamedev

Just finished Nodebuster and I have to rave about it: it avoids the common mid-game drag by constantly offering something new and interesting! Bonus points for not overstaying and avoiding the existential feeling of pointlessness that comes with dopamine hangover
