okay but what happens if i have multiple monitors set up, all showing the same screen?
fairystailor.bsky.social
and in fact a lot of companies would adjust their prices higher, using it as an excuse to make more of a profit

This was the plan all along, to stop people buying their Guillotines

like yes that is fast, but for the creator who spent weeks on it its not.
it feels bloody slow, cause for the creator it is slow

I cant imagine what its like to go 'okay for this scene we will have jack and jill get into a fight. next scene will be aftermath of said fight' then spend weeks on that aftermath and then do the reconciliation. but the aftermath scene was 2 minutes long.

like cliffhangers are the most obvious example
'will he survive tune in next week' is much different than 'will he survive jus wait 5 seconds'
But even ignoring that if you binge a soap opera then everyone usually sees like a monster, where as if its week to week they seem okayish

That's fair, i think part of it is also about making it vs watching it
Like if you make something then you sit with it for a long time. Where as watching it can be you go through it quite fast
You see this with some shows that if you binge them its a completely different story than watching weekly

like it's just such a small thing, but it's nice to know that my little fix is helping people to this day. It's great.
Its not a lot of people, but still hell yeah!

Several months ago, was following a Godot Tutorial for making a farming game (need to get back to my game) and the tutorial was helpful but lacked polish
Someone in the comments asked 'how do I fix this one issue' and I posted my fix
Recently just had someone comment 'thanks!' and guys i feel great!

If you ever need a reminder of how good people can be I suggest checking out the steam reviews of some free games
Sure there will always be assholes, but quite often you will see stuff like 'why is this game free' and similar comments of people just being genuinely nice and praising the game/creator

I get what you mean with Demon Prince of Butchery but im just imagining a lot of workers gathered together like 'So im a traveling Merchant and so I pray to Hermes, well im a sailor so I pray to the god Poseidon, Im a craftsman so I pray to Hephaestus what about you Jack?'
Jack the Butcher: '...um..

Obviously everyone will have different experiences especially someone like me who is a complete unknown compared to someone like you
though my personal experience has been people being pretty friendly and helpful
dont think ive received a single negative comment about the stuff ive worked on tbh

tbf isekai and rpg mechanics disease wont really be a problem for you.
immunity to disease or basic potions that cure disease are common in both genres unless you are the mother of the protagonist.

if i couldnt have a portal system then i'd want reincarnated into a scifi or modern/magical setting (like Final Fantasy XV)
while im not a traveler at heart, having access to a wide world beyond walking distance, and modern amenities are too good to give up
imagine a world without toothpaste
fairystailor.bsky.social
right!
And its not like im Doctor Stone or anything, im not gonna revolutionize the world with my technical and scientific knowledge
Ultimately though if i could chose my isekai i'd want a portal system where i can go to and fro
fairystailor.bsky.social
look i just want to live in a world with indoor plumbing and every book and movie and game accessible to me at most times.

nah definitely not the hero im the guy who has in the past gotten into the car with a random stranger who stopped on the road late at night, who goes outside at midnight cause i heard some cats fighting, who has the power go out and just ignores it
i would not survive a horror movie
