Kira, Darkrai Mirage.
Continuation of my Pokémon AU where magical girls based bonded with the mythics battle masked cultists who have bound the souls of dead Pokemon to gain power.

Kira, a darkrai-ispired gijinka design as part of my ongoing design side project. She is an ex-Cultist, with a white hood and black leather as part of her magical girl design with black wings of darkness comprising a skirt. Her weapon of choice at this point is tentatively envisioned as a string of large prayer beads shaped similarly to Darkrai's red collar that would be able to break off and attack individually.

I’ve had this escalation in mind for Kira for awhile, only to realize as I was sketching that this was coming dangerously close to just recreating Tax. I gave it my best shot nonetheless, but might end up needing to take another stab at this one down the line to further differentiate the two.

Kira's powerset would focus on invading the minds of masked cultists and trying to fix whatever is broken inside the individual, encouraging the person inside to reform. Her powers initially would come to her when she was a Veiled Cultist and help her to break free from the cult's conditioning.

Made for an antiparty fight that will hopefully destroy my players. Despite all of the other existing characters in the fight being associated with the Red Mantis Assassins, none of them bore the iconic helmet that the organization is known for, so I chose to work it into the character’s anatomy.

Diverted from the original prompt to design an enemy for an upcoming Pathfinder module finale I’m homebrewing since my players have chosen to Coup. This is the second time I have actively tried to emulate the rendering style of one of Paizo’s Pathfinder products in an effort to gaslight my players.
