Thanks to Farm Africa and CARE International's CASCADE programme, the Lum-Orwenyo Farmers Group in Uganda gained certification to sell their iron-rich beans as quality seeds, meaning higher prices for them and better access to seeds for other farmers.

As a village-based advisor, Kenyan farmer Rosebeth has educated over 1,000 farmers on planting trees, supported by Farm Africa and AGRA. 🌳
On 27 September, Ethiopia’s Anywaa Biosphere Reserve was registered as a UNESCO World Network of Man and Biosphere Reserve. 👏

This landmark achievement was made possible with support from the Nature-based solutions programme, led by Farm Africa and funded by Embassy of Sweden, Addis Ababa.

The Sof Omar Caves in Oromia, Ethiopia now have an ecotourism service! 🙌

With funding from the Norwegian Embassy in Addis Ababa, Farm Africa has been working with the local community on the set-up. Now the government has legalised the operation and handed over the materials needed to operate. 🎉
