I believe you’re right. About a year ago I had a strong sense that the party that started with a Keir ( Hardy) would end with a Keir (Starmer).

We’re on the same side regarding inequality and the ultra rich. It has become obscene. But blame for UK inequality lies primary with our Governments and right-wing dominated media. The EU had no direct tax raising powers over the UK population. Other EU nations have much better equality than the UK.

I think they’re both definitely connected. It was inequality and austerity that absolutely drove the Brexit vote.

There are signs all over the place stating that regeneration was funded through the EU
Stoke voted unanimously to leave
A colleague voted for Brexit as Tim Martin had said he would knock 5p off a pint
A friend voted to leave "for a laugh"
