Thanks so much!! They said they only film it for their records. It probably takes a lot of time and $$ to setup for streaming particularly theater in the round. Definitely having FOMO. Danielle’s review was detailed and objective which is appreciated.

Thanks so much for a very objective detailed review. So glad Sam exceeded expectations as we hoped he would. And previews are just that so the show should really be humming in a week or so. If it’s this good now, imagine the performances in several weeks! ❤️

There’s an article in the Scotsman all about the opening of the re-named distillery that happened this weekend. But Sassenach’s online account keeps teasing info that it seems the print publication already has out there.

Unfortunately they just never found a great balance and rhythm to the show. The unexpected plus some humor would help. Honestly I think a lot of the fic writers here would do a better job, you included. I’m disappointed.

The whole thing just doesn’t jell for me, it’s a poor imitation of Outlander. I think the story doesn’t warrant this many episodes and it lacks the spark and humor that balances the drama in Outlander. Matt doesn’t have a good handle on H&J’s story and isn’t telling B&E’s story well.
