My ancient trees have overdone themselves as have oaks producing carpets of acorns. There will be fat squirrels 🐿️ who will hopefully leave my bird feeders alone 🌱📷

It simply wanted to go on growing- and sprouted new leaves. I kept it in water for maybe a couple of months or more and then when it had roots put it in a pot in my greenhouse. Put the pot outside this summer and hey presto! 2 beautiful blooms in recent weeks. I won’t plant it til the Spring.

I discovered what this #rose is! 😁🌹
I remembered where the bouquet was bought last yr, and the florist knew exactly that it was a Rose Peach Avalanche- a hybrid tea rose.
So now I know that she loves a sunny spot ☀️ 🌱📷
