but you can follow people from other instances, i think unless yours has blocked the other one.

so go to the instance you'd like to sign up there. if you sign up directly on mastodon, it will be the main mastodon dot social

ok so, the main instance (server) is mastodon dot social. the thing with that is, it's huge and the feed is essentially a waterhose. much better to use one of the other instances.

a lot of bsky peeps seem to be on jorts dot horse and beige dot party (i'm on that one).
