you guys make it sound simple, but it's not that consistent. They break weird or are misshapen or still, even in the snapped back position, sneakily scrape your nose. Already i can't drink easily from travel mugs and coffee cup tops. Justice for the long-nosed!

There are at least a half dozen attachment designs and some are much worse than others, like making it harder to pour cleanly or close again. Maybe the market will find it's way eventually.

New York was where i came out, where i found acceptance from people of all walks of life, and where I learned how to live with dignity despite others' disrespect.

This trans community gave me hope, but we need more than hope and our own convictions to be safe. We need allies like this.

There is a cedar outside my window that has magpies, house finches, and sparrows all squawking together, and i have to wonder at their agenda. They don't seem to be competing for territory, so maybe gossip about the nuthatch over on the rhododendron?

Thank you for sharing the results of your digging! Beside the high quality camera work, the audio had to be directly from the sound system, it's just backing track and mics inputs with no crowd sounds or venue acoustics. Definitely a leak!

Except BTS never released the DVD for this concert nor there was livestream, so how is it HD?+

I've been burned by dming writers, so I appreciate the confirmation that such practices exist but I'm shy about asking from experience. Maybe I'll earn my way into such relationships eventually.

But don't worry, I'll never chase what is popular. I know where I'm not willing to compromise.

For sure, the default is no critical feedback from a variety of conflicts between writers and readers. We've learned the hard way that it quickly ruins this creative environment, and that culture is worth keeping. Hence the need to beg for any crit at all. The me-issue is not having people to ask.

I've tried that a couple of times, but so far no corrections offered, even though i discover new errors every time i reread anything. It's probably a matter of numbers, with not enough readers in the first place to include any who would bother. Still, planting the ask may yield fruit eventually.

maybe there is comfort in geological or multi-generations time scales? The most dire dangers to the species are new, spread in the last few centuries, and it will take no less time to find a new equilibrium with our environment. Individually, we can't solve it, but we can live well and help. ❤️‍🩹

As a new writer, it feels like a lack of trust, but i can't prove myself trustworthy for handling such a tender and complex topic if people won't give my writing a chance. So if there are red flags that I'm accidentally exhibiting, it would be nice to be told where they are.

One instance is Caged Pride, a longer Namgi fic that revisits the scooter incident beside a story of non-famous Namjoon coming to terms with his past. (plus dog-related hijinx.)

Some namgi readers won't want to think about Aug '24, and fair enough, but maybe there's more putting people off.
