One-eyed Red Foxes have gotten a lot of attention by photogs in Prince Albert NP #SK 🇨🇦. In the last 5 years we have seen two different foxes both missing their left eye - likely the result of sparring with other foxes. Both were otherwise in full health.

Beavers are now all-in on their winter preparations. When their ponds freeze in a couple of weeks, the only food that they will be able to eat is what they have been collecting and storing below the waterline. #mammals

In October 2025 you can actually watch flocks of North America's cranes - both Sandhills and Whooping, wing their way south #SK #birds.
About 30 adult and young Whooping Cranes gather on a cultivated field on migration. A flock of Sandhill Cranes rise up over a cultivated field.

We have been visiting the #SK Whopping Cranes for the last five years in October and each and every year we see more and more birds. Its not us, they are doing their reproductive part perfectly!
