Oh I completely agree, I just think it's funny that everyone else is allowed to do exclusive games, but when Microsoft does them they get hammered for it to the point that they're pretty much gonna stop doing it now.

I'm hopeful that does happen and that the game can have a second shot. 🙏

Frankly, I maintain that the biggest failure Starfield had was that it dared to be an Xbox console exclusive in a world of PS5 ubiquity.

Like aside from the repetitive POIs (mods fix that), those are the only two issues the game really has. And boy do they get hammered home by the general public.

Couldn't sleep tonight, so I turned it on and just absolutely lost 3 hours of my life to exploring planets and completing some side missions.

It has its issues for sure, but massively overhated and underrated.

100% this. I'm totally down with once a year, over the summer, we take a dive into an IP that fits Magic's overall vibe. LOTR and FF are great fits.

The things that suck the most is that the big UB sets like LOTR and FF that actually fit the fantasy aesthetic are great. And the in-universe Magic sets this year were awesome. But they get ignored in favor of goddamn Spidermen and Nick and Nite or whatever. It's just too much, I'd be fine with less

I agree, and I'd prefer not to see a set tank, but at some point enough is enough when it comes to problems posed by UB yanno? The only thing they listen to is business success.

Honestly, we're getting to a point where we kind of need a set to fail to show them that UB and this inane physical/digital split isn't the way we want the game to work. It will take people fighting the FOMO and saying no, this is the bridge too far. Unfortunately, no one seems to want to do that.

I always go back and forth between the Storm figures and the Jada figures that have been coming out the last couple of years, and then end up buying neither lol
