Whoop whoop! Enjoy your new lease of life! And I came here to say specifically, yay you for not letting the bar-stewards steal your joy!
THANK you! I was going nuts trying to think who he reminded me of!
Good luck with the book!
And the moustache that I always think is boobies!
Cheese. Cheese is protein. Ergo, cheese is health food.
This is just one of the rather gorgeous places I spent my weekend.

If this doesn't scream "children's adventure story about running away to an uninhabited island to live in a cave," to you, you had a deprived childhood.

He's a radish spirit??? There is so much about this film that goes over my head!
And protein! Don't forget that!

Oh we like! Cam here looking to find you, chap! This month's FearBites was inspired by - well, you won't have much trouble guessing!
Hmm, good question. I think I just chopped onions and the radishes and fried them a bit before I dumped in a couple of chopped potatoes, some veggie stock, and after pureeing, 2 cups of milk. Oh - salt and black pepper too! Oh yes, and I had two yellow courgettes wilting so I added them!
Honestly, I would buy shares, cos frankly who wouldn't like to travel back to a time that was less "interesting"?!

(2025? No thanks, I'll take my chances with the Black Death...)
Now there's a thought!
OMG - is that Spirited Away? Brilliantly unsettling film!
Can you please teach Middle that level of soup enthusiasm? I'm banned from making it more than rarely!
It was surprisingly good - so good, in fact, that Eldest, who is the pickiest of eaters, heated up the leftovers for her lunch the day after! Who'd 'a thunk?!
