My absolute favorite dish - 辣子鸡, LaZiJi. 🔥
Be brave, this dish is by far not as spicy as it may appear at first glance!
Richly fragrant, juicy, with such an awesome unique taste.❤️

Looks delicious! 🔥

With food like that your tastebuds will be trained back into form ASAP. 😄 Get well soon!
Real nice presentation and pic!
Also looks hella delicious.
Lazy Tuesday with the always faithful 麻婆豆腐 Mapo Dofu. 🔥

Sauce got a little bit thick this time, but it still is that ever fragrant hug in a bowl. 🫶🏻

Hell yeah, that is the way! 🙏
It also feels (and tastes) really amazing if you discover a new tasty mix and dish that way! Almost like a real chef!😄
Still a word of caution:
You shouldn't use the rose pedals from your garden for this, since rose fertilizers could have some stuff in it you don't want inside your body. Since the gardenshop doesn't think you'll be eating your roses.😅
I learned that after the fact; got no sideeffects, but still. 😆
Sure! 😋
Best video for a quick translation would be this one: youtu.be/Yj4IkdYIj18?...
I used unsalted butter instead of lard and a generous amount of honey instead of sugar.
Sweet treat: Yunnan flower cakes

A treat from my cultural roots - Nuremberger sausages + sauerkraut and pretzel breadsticks. 🤙🏻🔥
And a lager beer from a Stein, of course. Cheers! 🍺

Nice! Good luck and success, I dabbled a little with German sausage making, but your post reminded me of expanding my horizon a bit more. 😄 Especially since the only lap xuong sausage I have access to come form the supermarket.
Do have a nice go-to source or starting point for a recipee by chance?
His body is a machine that turns Schnitzl into fluff. ☁️

Nice work! I dig the warm colour composition, and that green is a nice highlight. 👌🏻
Also he looks like a chill guy. Long may he fluff!
A little romance for the tongue - 鲜花饼,

xian hua bing, pastry filled with a mixture of rose pedals and honey. 😋🌸🐝🐝

Owls simply are the best. 😌🙏
And so is this paintint. Great work! I really dig the overall composition of it.
That looks so delicious!
And I can feel your pain, haha. What I most miss from my vacation in China is the vibe that no matter where you are, you take ten steps and you are already at a fantastic Streetfood shop with super fragrant, amazing dishes. 😄🔥
Looking good! Crimson fists are just iconic.
Also, nice paintjob! A steady pace leads to a fully painted, happy army. 😁
The books are a really nice read! Helped me a lot to get into the Age of Sigmar setting. So enjoy! :D

And your pics reminded me of the two still sitting in my pile of shame, waiting to get their paintjob, haha. Nice colours, btw!
Looks great! Love the mud and grime, and the simple yet effective colour scheme. Great paint job!
A few more angles, ‘cause I love it, haha.
My other great passion! 😁

A kitbash I have made for my #imperialguard .The Tank Commander for my JiangHu-Regiment, my project to add a little hua xia to the grimdark of 40k.

Hell yeah, congrats! 👏🏻🔥
Keep it up but do enjoy your celebration. 🎉

I taught myself around 4 months ago, I wanted to try something different and test out my skills. It’s super tasty, you’ll need Berbere, this is a spice blend used in Ethiopia, you can make your own or buy in. However for me making your own Niter kibbeh is super important, It’s a spiced butter
I heavily leaned on @fuchsiadunlop.bsky.social amazing books on Sichuan and Hunan cuisine, starting during the great lockdowns back during Covid. Couldn’t stand the take-out anymore, and my gf of the time was from Sichuan.
So I thought happy wife, happy life. GF gone now but the cooking stuck, haha.
Man, those do look fantastic! 🔥
Thanks for putting that culinary region on my radar. 👌🏻

I haven’t tried out baking bread yet, seems kinda like a mixture of chemistry and black magic sometimes, haha.

Did you get your recipes via the web or some books?
Wow, looks nice and tasty!
Never thought about Ethiopian cuisine before, but this got me curios. 😄
Great work!
