Haven't seen this in decades, but HEAVEN, Diane Keaton's first movie as a director, was a truly eccentric documentary about the possibility of an afterlife, with cinematography by Frederick Elmes and a score by Howard Shore.

Jett Rink at the end of GIANT vibes.

Yep. Paying the crew not to work would've been hard to justify and Zemeckis didn't want to lose them.

Tom Holland sucks too, though.

If you have Criterion and haven't seen WHAT LIES BENEATH yet, give it a whirl. Genuinely scary movie about a woman who sacrificed everything to save her marriage and a man who will sacrifice that marriage to save his reputation. Zemeckis's last great movie, if you ask me.

These ELM STREET 4Ks are stunning. I never had a problem with the Blu-rays but this is undoubtedly leveling up. And they're very organic-looking, not the AI nightmares you sometimes get now.

Note that another Columbia limbo movie we recently talked about, HOUSE OF MIRTH, has finally been restored and is getting a splashy UK reissue at month's end.
