And while we're at it, what is the evidence that voters really care about social media?
You shouldn't rely on AI for word definitions.
By itself, submitting an appeal doesn't stay an order
Not really. Those protestors are at Broadview, a federal facility. As I said, if the state police won't go to a federal facility, then the national guard will.

Actual ICE raids are miles away. Chicagoans are actively hindering ICE with alerts and by hiding migrants. State police aren't involved.
Yes, they are arresting protestors. They aren't helping ICE arrest immigrants. There are no immigrants in that video.
I don't think they are helping ICE do anything at all.
If the state police don't show up, then the national guard will. I think JB made the right choice.
In 1988, Gary Hart ended his campaign when it was revealed he'd had an affair.

In 1989, the first of episode of Seinfeld aired.
Hot take: the rising popularity of horribly flawed protagonists primed America for the election of Donald Trump to the presidency.
"Thank you for your attention to this matter"
Well, they also offer opinions. But opinions, like questions, aren't lies.
And suborning perjury is in fact a crime, just like perjury itself.
Prosecutors, like defense lawyers, don't "know what they are asking is based on a blatant lie". They aren't allowed to suborn perjury, ie ask a question when they know that the answer will be lie.
There is usually both incriminating evidence and exculpatory evidence. The jury is responsible for weighing them, not the prosecutor.
Of course they know what the witness will say. But prosecutors are not allowed to say it themselves, because they weren't at the scene.

The witness was at the one at the scene, so they are responsible for making the truth known. Not the prosecutor who only repeats what they say.
How can they be lying when all they do is (a) ask questions and (b) repeat the answers they heard during closing arguments?
Prosecutors, like defense attorneys, call witnesses to ask them questions. The witnesses must answer those questions truthfully. But questions asked by prosecutors, like all questions, are neither true nor false.
Prosecutors aren't witnesses, so they aren't under oath.
Lying under oath is a crime.

But that's not what seems to be happening in this case.
Imposing sanctions is kind of like using corporal punishment on a child. Even when permitted, it's a bad look.

Good judges (like good parents) patiently make every possible attempt to use reason and persuade someone to do the right thing.
Me too, and I read the book.
Your library can be broader and deeper than any feed.

But it usually isn't as amusing as your feed. And amusing feeds don't have to be ideologically diverse.
If learning is the most important thing then you're better off reading a book or newspaper than social media.
Why is it important for your audience to include people who are certain that you have nothing useful to say?
Republicans cheat ALL THE TIME.

They gerrymander. They suppress the vote. They lie. They buy off the press.

That's just how it is. But many Democrats win despite GOP cheating. I expected Harris to be one of those Democrats.

She wasn't. She isn't fully to blame, but she is not blameless either.
