Thrilled to welcome Prof. Yang Yang’s research team from CAS to visit our labs at @kuleuvenuniversity.bsky.social and exchange research ideas. It was great to learn about deep sea exploration using flexible sensors in China. Quite impressive!

5/🧵Long story short. The person was a controller, and the fine was 70 EUR! Of course, I contested the fine, thinking that it was clearly a misunderstanding, but @ratpgroup.bsky.social would not accept the claim. My advice: ignore what is written on the stop and buy your ticket beforehand.

4/🧵Right after, a person told me quite roughly that I was riding without a ticket. I could not comprehend where that came from! I was trying to pay, but the driver would not give me a ticket, nor did he offer alternatives. He just closed the door and rode. I couldn't get off!!

3/🧵HOWEVER... on my last day to work, the bus ran out of paper to provide tickets! Unbelievable, right? While I was trying to understand from the driver how I could pay, he closed the doors and started riding. I was suddenly trapped!
