Let’s understand Israel intends on eliminating all Palestinians in Gaza - 2.1 million - and then saying Palestinians never existed to begin with. This is the way authoritarian governments work. Russia: “There is no Ukraine, there’s only Russia”, or China: “There is no Taiwan, there’s only China.”

There should be a constitutional amendment to end government shutdowns, and it should simply say:

“Any impasse within Congress that causes a government shutdown triggers a mandatory election of every seat in the House and Senate six months from the day the shutdown occurs.”

I was holding a heavily mustard covered hotdog, and at the signal “HOME RUN!!”, I was to leap up and nail him with the hotdog in his white shirt (Clorox ad). The issue, I was terribly nearsighted and hadn’t been prescribed glasses yet. So, take after take I swung and missed his shirt, but hit him.

I was sad to see David Ketchum (Agent 13 from the “Get Smart” TV series) died August 10th. As a kid in elementary school I was cast in a Clorox commercial with him, and he was very kind to me, though I wasn’t great in the role. The scene was he and I in the bleachers of a baseball game.

Tim Cook is just stalling Trump. There’s no way for Apple manufacturing to be on-shored in a meaningful way, and doing so will crash the company. Cook genuflects before Trump and presents some kind of gold bibelot to curry favor, but has no serious intention of on-shoring Apple manufacturing.

It feels to me the ever-present message conveyed by the ubiquitous corporate media to its audience is “Your world is shit, and it will never improve, and there’s nothing you can do about it.” It seems the purpose is demoralize the population into inaction. That doesn’t improve anything. #massmedia
