Yeah. I still have a working PlayStation, and copies of 1 & 2. I have 3, and two copies of the rare Japanese drama CD that they made for it that let you create some really unique rares based on your Rank level.

I just wish I had the time to invest into playing it again.

Funny enough, I thought that they asked select artists like, "Hey R.E.M. /Mariah Carrey, which CD do you want one of our secret monsters on?" And Michael Stipe was all "Use our album 'Monster'" for the ??? dragon"

My friend told me this game pulled monsters from game discs, and convinced everyone you could raise RPG monsters.

I was expecting something like an Ultimate Demon, or Bomb from the Final Fantasy Tactics CD I own. I got a Hare instead.

That lil' Hare got me to S class eventually 🫡

One of things I liked was that some games had this little countdown when you held that down. Sometimes I'd see if I could get close to 100% before it actually soft reset. Kinda like an incidental mini-game.

(Future tense)
