Downgrade as a run blocker, specifically on IZ but the astronomical difference in how much better of a pass blocker & stunt handler steen is over Becton makes it a landslide in steens favor imo.

I’ve said it so many times but 2023 was the worst & best thing that could’ve happened to them. It directly led to super star hires that played a huge part in the SB but on the flip side, they’ve become overly obsessed with reinventing themselves. Do what freaking works for Gods sake!

Big surprise for me this year is that Josh Uche has been pretty damn awesome by all accounts. Particularly based on expectations. You get Nolan back healthy & you’re talking about a damn good edge rotation.

From all accounts (his words) he never stopped training. Naturally though when these guys aren’t in the building as much or getting ready for a season with a very specific meal plan/meal timing the weight flys off. Could be in great shape just needs to add the lbs.

I genuinely thought BG was playing some of the best ball of his career last year before the injury. Be interesting to see how quick he gets back up to playing weight but he is certainly a positive addition to this defensive front.

I’d prefer not to trade premium assets at all for players very close to the end of their prime in general. Also not saying this is a guarantee just the feeling I get if they do in fact make another trade.

The thing that makes me most nervous about a potential trade for the Eagles in the coming weeks is that Howie is going to go big game hunting. He’s already tapped out on the role player trades & only one has worked out this far. Cool with it if it’s for a guy like Crosby but pass on Hendrickson.

I will say. pff’s charting for the secondary is quite horrendous but CTB also hasn’t been fantastic. More of a dart throw on upside & talent than getting a known commodity. Unfortunately, that’s all the CB’s who are going to be available at the deadline imo.

I would take a chance on Cam Taylor- Britt if I were Howie. He’s clearly fallen out of favor with the Bengals coaching staff. Talented player dealing with some confidence issues. Could just need a fresh start.

This is a pass first time until the OL gets healthy and starts moving people. The concepts were there last week. They executed to a tee this week. Huge showing from Hurts, Smitty, & AJB.
