None of the ones my mom made from the cookbook called for purchased cake mix. They were all from scratch. That cookbook came out well before the cake mixes were a thing. Everything was old school.

I'm so excited because it seems that Lexi is liking her new dog food. I poured some into her bowl this morning figuring she could eat some as she wanted. She ate the whole amount in the bowl. That makes me so happy!

I want to make some bourbon chicken and rice. I'm going to be forced to go out and buy bourbon as I normally don't have it on hand. I should though because I like to cook and bake with it. Can't drink it...gives me migraines. I'm now down to being able to drink only gin, vodka and tequila.

I was just thinking about this. As earth has split, I want less and less to do with the 3D world, but we still need to function in the 3D world. Straddling both worlds is tiring.
