Pre-ai, I felt like people in general were becoming intellectually lazy because they could reach into their pocket and Google surface level information without fact checking or genuine comprehension.

My wife (notoriously coulrophobic) wanted to watch with me, so I agreed as long as she let me know if it gets too much I'll turn it right off.

Maybe even just release a wave of upgraded out of the box systems as an option alongside whatever hardware upgrades become available for those that just want to boost what they already own.

That's exactly why console generations really ought to be even further apart than back then.

We're never likely to see drastic leaps like this again. Just performance upgrades and maybe some features.

Finally caught it last month on Peacock and had a fun time. It took a tone shift from the first, but it wasn't unwelcome.

Regardless of the silliness, I appreciate that it tongue-in-cheek warns that we need to solve AI alignment and practice ethical use of the tech.
