TIL that turbines equipped on the Queen Elizabeth's are basically the same as the 777. A whole ass aircraft carrier uses an airliner's worth of turbines for high speed cruising and high system load demand.

The cool thing about a steam mandate for cvn's is that I'd imagine the Ford class would get Kuznetsov'd. Ford would be permanently laid up in drydock and the JFK would never fit out, and Enterprise and Miller would never leave the stocks.
