FYI: AI in education, ai teachers, ai degrees.. all of it is for the poor. The rich won’t be sending their children to schools full of screens and chatbot teachers. And they will be doing philosophy, business, international relations degrees. Not “ai”. It will be a sign of wealth to not use ai.

I love a) this cover and b) how Suede now look like the cast of a gritty ITV crime procedural.
(l-r)
Mat - Beleaguered boss
Richard - Life-hardened sidekick
Brett - Detective who plays by his own rules.
Neil - Undercover drugs operative
Simon - Forensic pathologist

Gotta love Lewis Capaldi.

A grassroots movement like Arts Emergency rarely lasts or grows as we have. Our work changes lives, but we rely on monthly donations. Those donations are down £50k since 2021. We've cut all we can, now we're appealing to you for £2/month to plug the gap & go on www.arts-emergency.org/donate%F0%9F...

71,000 children in Gaza will need urgent treatment for acute malnutrition, according to the latest Integrated Food Security Phase Classification report.

With supplies running out, it's imperative that aid be allowed in for children’s health and survival.

Best book I’ve read in a while, really enjoyed the atmosphere.
It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to host a preview screening of #RiefenstahlFilm with such wonderful guests at @goethe-institut-uk.bsky.social. The documentary is an absolute must-watch, coming to UK cinemas next week.
We were at Goethe-Institut London last night for a preview screening of RIEFENSTAHL + Q&A with producer Sandra Maischberger hosted by Philip Oltermann.

#RiefenstahlFilm is in cinemas 9 May.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Walthamstow artist Anna Alcock. Before she died she set up this Go Fund account to raise money for her children. Share and donate if you can. t.co/99TQ0p4x4g

We believe the Supreme Court – which disgracefully refused to hear from trans people before its decision last week – has placed the UK in breach of its obligations under the Human Rights Act.

So we’re readying a challenge – join us:
