Yeah, the Homestuck fandom is never nice lmao. People can like characters while not agreeing to them morally, that and not everybody read the Epilogues (and neither do I recommend it lol)

It's just what happens when characters are written to be villains in Homestuck from what I recall. Dirk being like how he is in the Epilogues caused the "apologist" discourse, which is also the exact same thing with Gamzee, Vriska, and Eridan back in the day lol

That being said, I prefer JadeRezi which has a very similar dynamic, and I wish it gets the same rarepair love as JadeVris too, which is honestly one of my fave secondary ships nowadays lol
