So the YouTube AI has screwed up again. It hit me with a community guideline warning because of a website breakingcopyright.com. Here's the thing: the website is completely legal it links royalty free music with the permission of the creators. The AI is just looking at the words and flipping out.
So I'm going to badmouth the Vorlons a bit here (don't worry, the Shadows will get theirs). These guys are immortal with millions of years to draw on and still make repeated mistakes. What's the point of immortality if you don't learn anything!?!
So update, I have sent an email to youtube, breakingcopyright.com is already aware of this and is in contact with youtube as well. If you've gotten a strike or if you see this and think this is crap, I've been told to recommend going to support.google.com/youtube and using the chat option
Correction, it's a community guideline strike because YouTube thinks that royalty-free music is harmful or illegal? I should note that this is the same service as the YouTube Audio library and uses the same creative commons license.
So I got a copyright strike a video. It's because I used music that is royalty-free from a website called breakingcopyright.com. I know this because it was listed in the complaint. To clarify, the website does nothing illegal; it provides royalty-free music.
I do want to note that for time some things were cut from the Shaver Mystery intro. So I didn't talk about Palmer's feud with his assistant editor for example. But hey, that's what follow up videos are for right?
