Fitting way for that bizarre season to end. Almost totally punchless with Kyle Tucker being a massive disappointment. And yet they were one game away from the NLCS and fought back valiantly. No idea where they go from here with this group. Jed should not have been extended.

Tucker’s stat line in the postseason doesn’t look terrible (.259/.375/.370) but he hasn’t had any impactful hits and just has the one RBI on the solo shot with the Cubs up 4-0.

Still…if you said a Cubs bullpen game, on the road, in a decisive game, allowed 3 runs through 7…I’d take it. At some point, your fucking hitters need to fucking hit.
