I wouldnt say a 35% inflation rate YEARLY is 'doing great'.
Argentina famously has boom and bust economics, and Trump throwing 20 billion at them is just that right at this juncture: throwing it away because the currency is about to be devalued.

Stephen Miller doesnt have anywhere near the same kind of influence on Vance that he has on Trump.

Miller also literally grew up using the power of right wing media to get where he is. Trump didnt start this anti press stuff until Miller started writing speeches for him.

Trump never gave a flying fuck about immigration until Miller starting advising him and writing his speeches. Real estate developers LOVE the overpopulation that excess migration brings. It raises the value of their product and puts pressure on governments to fast track development proposals.
