I need to stop doubting movies that look like silly action by the trailers. Did not to be that emotionally invested and profoundly impacted by a man's quest, even when it'll hurt.

Half of a picture I love when he's fired on Mars to be alone, half of one that I think is simply just okay when it focuses on his crew. It's good, but man, do I wish I loved it like I expected to.

Aggressively fine, probably the most of what I've seen all year. Feels very much so like I'm watching the same cycle for two hours that sometimes can prove he can act, but it's nothing exceptional.

It then sorta ends, just like that way. Major disappointment.

🎬 • Casper (1995) - 8/10

Is it definitely flawed and childish? Sure, but the gothic fairly tale wonder and melancholy is so strong that I almost consider this is a masterpiece. That ending gets me whenever I see.

It looks so pretty and polished that it's scary how good it is. A beautiful picture.

📺 • Secrets of the Silent Witch (2025) - 6/10

Main character so good and endearing that it somewhat makes up for all the familiar school stuff that I wish has more interesting things going, but when the more fantastical end hits, it hits.

So, maybe I'll learn it's secrets later when I do get more.
