Ime Udoka wasn’t happy with the Rockets’ turnovers and lack of defensive recognition at times tonight but liked the double-big lineup.

“Good starts, just gotta sustain it. Still figuring that out, spacing and some things like that, but overall, they played well off each other.”

I dont think the Rockets had injury good luck last season. Lost Jabari for 2 months. Lost FVV for 6 weeks. Tari was out for like a month. DFS probably off sets the Brooks loss. But yeah, PG rotation we will have to see.

The Rockets are starting their double-big lineup in tonight’s preseason game against the Pelicans: Amen Thompson, Kevin Durant, Jabari Smith Jr., Alperen Şengün and Steven Adams.

Ime Udoka said this could be a regular season starting lineup dependent on opponent personnel.

Reed Sheppard on his backcourt chemistry with Amen Thompson: “Amen’s obviously a tremendous defender and super quick and fast and athletic with the ball get to the rim. So I think just him doing that will draw defenders and, I think, (makes us) a really good duo.”
