"People will always remember how you made them feel," are words that stuck with Marie-Philip Poulin as she took on a leadership role with Canada. She still lives by that philosophy making sure new players feel welcome, even reporters like me get a handshake and a 'thank you.' #special

Get ready to watch a bonafide superstar in the making... Chloe Primerano is with Team Canada training for the Olympics, and of the ten defenders skating, she is in the top five already. And she's only 18.

I think she’s right there in
the mix. If she can win faceoffs, I see her on the team.

Some interesting takeaways from today's Team Canada intra-squad scrimmage: Daryl Watts played with Poulin and Stacey. Natalie Spooner lined up with Sarah Nurse and Sarah Fillier, and connected on a long breakaway pass from Claire Thompson, scoring on a backhand.

A viewer question for PWHL Seattle’s first-round draft pick Jenna Buglioni in the Puck Drop podcast was, “Now that you’re in the PWHL, who’s one defender or goalie you’re most curious to test yourself against?”
Can you guess who she chose? Hint: she chose two PWHL Award winners.

Flashback to 1st-year Natalie Spooner. Dont’t forget she is a fierce, driven competitor and has had a summer of training rather than rehab. With the Olympics as a goal, an elevated role on the Sceptres and a power game perfect for the PWHL, count her out at your peril. Expect a big comeback season.
gamedayhockey.bsky.social
I could see this happening, depending where she plays in the loaded SEA lineup!

Definitely has a chance! Very talented and will have a big role with the Victoire.
